The Public Education Department, School and Family Support Bureau is sponsoring a FREE one-day training in five (5) different regions to introduce the Local Homeless Education Liaison Toolkit. This Toolkit is a comprehensive resource that will assist both new and veteran local liaisons in carrying out their responsibilities. The Toolkit, updated in 2007, contains over 250 pages of the most useful and current information on supporting the education of children and youth experiencing homelessness.

Each district is allowed to send up to two (2) representatives to a training of their choosing. (If a district has additional individuals that they would like to send to the training,  please contact the training management office.) The trainings will be held:
