We are very excited to announce that the Advocacy in Action conference for 2009 will again have the "Animals In Action” component, a joint effort between the AIA planning committee and the City of Albuquerque to pair homeless animals with conference participants. We are also very happy that the
Marriott has agreed to allow this event to occur. We will be having the adoption clinic on Friday, March 27, 2009 in the atrium area of the hotel. During the 2008 conference 19 wonderful dogs and cats were adopted and went to loving homes. We are hoping to exceed that number this year. All of the animals will be spayed or neutered, vaccinated, and micro chipped and will be “free” to a good home. So please consider adopting one of the cats or dogs.
