Scholarship Information

AVAILABILITY

Scholarships will be distributed to the following professional categories:
• Law Enforcement
• Social Workers
• Child Protective Services Professionals
• Adult Protective Services Professionals
• Probation & Parole Officers
• Counselors
• Court Personnel
• CASA Workers
• Victim Advocates (excluding those required to attend by VAWA/VOCA contract)
• Prosecution Personnel

The funds will pay for the conference and pre-conference registration fees at the early bird rate and hotel accommodations at the host hotel for those traveling more than 50 miles one way to attend the conference. It is the individuals' responsibility to make their own hotel reservations and secure the reservation with a credit card before the hotel deadline date of Friday, March 12, 2010.

Eligible personnel must submit a scholarship application to the CVRC office. Information, instructions and the scholarship application will be available on the CVRC website at www.cvrc.state.nm.us/AIA.html. Scholarships are awarded on a first-come, first-served basis until the funding resources runs out. Approved scholarship applicants will be notified by the CVRC office within five (5) workdays of receipt of the application via e-mail.
