AVAILABILITY

Scholarships are available for New Mexico:

  • Adult Protective Services Professionals
  • CASA Workers
  • Child Protective Services Professionals
  • Court Clerks
  • Law Enforcement Professionals
  • Probation and Parole Officers
  • School Counselors
  • School Social Workers

CRITERIA

Scholarships are based on the financial need of the applying agency.   Scholarships are limited and are on a first-come, first-served basis.

The scholarship will cover the following:

  • Registration fee at the early-bird rate. Registration form must be received before February 15, 2008. (extended until Friday, February 22 at 5:00 pm)
  • Up to three nights of hotel stay will be paid for those conference participants who must travel more than 50 miles one way to attend.

Eligible applicants include:  State, City, Tribal, County and Federal Law Enforcement professionals (investigators, dispatchers, detectives, officers); probation and parole officers; court personnel; child protective services professionals; adult protective services professionals; CASA workers;  school counselors; and school social workers who work within the State of New Mexico.  This scholarship is strictly limited to these professionals from throughout New Mexico. 

APPLICATION PROCEDURE

Scholarship applications must include the name, title and valid telephone number of the supervisor authorizing attendance of the individual at the conference.  In addition, the supervisor's signature must be on file with the conference management office.  At the end to the registration process you will be given instructions for submitting your supervisor's signature.
