AVAILABILITY

 

Scholarships are available for New Mexico:

 

·   Law Enforcement Professionals

·   Probation and Parole Officers

·   Court Clerks

·   Child Protective Services Professionals

·   Adult Protective Services Professionals

·   School Counselors

·   School Social Workers

·   CASA Workers

 

CRITERIA

Scholarships are based on the financial need of the applying agency.   Scholarships are limited and are on a first-come, first-served basis. Submission of a scholarship application and registration form should be made immediately, as funds are expected to go quickly.

 

The scholarship will cover the following:

·   Registration fee at the early-bird rate. Registration form must be received before March 3, 2006.

·   Up to three nights of hotel stay will be paid for those conference participants who must travel more than 50 miles one way to attend. 

 

Eligible applicants include:  State, City, Tribal, County and Federal Law Enforcement professionals (investigators, dispatchers, detectives, officers); probation and parole officers; court personnel; child protective services professionals; adult protective services professionals; CASA workers;  school counselors; and school social workers who work within the State of New Mexico.  This scholarship is strictly limited to these professionals from throughout New Mexico.
