CHILDREN/CHILD CARE
Please note that this event provides professional training to adults and is not suitable for children. However, child care for children ages 4-13 will be provided for those who pre register. Child care will be at the Community Center across the street from the high school. Lunch will be provided to the children. Parents/Guardians will receive a voucher when they check in the morning of the workshop in the 9th Grade Academy lobby. This voucher must be turned in when picking up child(ren) in order to have the childcare fee waived.
DOOR PRIZES
Many items have been donated, such as scrapbooking kits, floor puzzles, books, back packs, reading lamps, art kits and gift baskets which will be distributed throughout the day - you must be present to win.
CELL PHONES
Out of courtesy to your fellow attendees and our presenters, please make sure to turn cell phones and pagers off or to the vibrate mode when attending sessions. If you are on call, we ask that you sit in the aisle seats near the back and exit the room before answering the call.
DRESS
Trying to find a room temperature at which everyone can be comfortable is nearly impossible. Half the attendees are usually too cold and the rest too hot. Therefore, we highly recommend you bring a sweater or light jacket and dress in layers so you can adjust to the room.
