October 23 & 24, 2006 EMBASSY SUITES HOTEL The New Mexico Education Network Centers invites educators
and administrators to the 2006 Fall Share:
Enhancing Instructional Practice.
The conference goals are to: ·
Develop a Collaborative School Improvement model which helps schools
create a benchmarked set of practices and protocols to help them meet student
improvement targets. ·
Improve the capacity of PRINCIPALS to create and manage the
organizational context for collaborative work to improve instructional
quality in their schools. ·
Immerse TEACHERS in reflective practices to ensure that all students
reach proficiency in literacy and math. ·
Facilitate the development of a shared set of beliefs and expectations
that all students can and will succeed. Our
2006 keynote speakers include Keil
Hileman, the Kansas Teacher of the Year, 2004 and one of the four
finalists for the 2004 National Teacher of the Year and Marian Leibowitz, a
national educational consultant who specializes in assisting schools
and school districts in planning and implementing change. In addition, participants will be able to select
from approximately 36 breakout sessions covering a variety of topics:
integrated instruction, using standards to plan and teach, sheltering
instruction to meet the needs of all students, and strategies for teaching
literacy and math. For more information or to be placed on our mailing list
