The Convention Center is a large facility, so plan on some healthy physical activity! Consider wearing a pedometer so you see how many steps you take throughout the day! Meeting rooms are notorious for being either too cool or warm, so we highly encourage you to dress in layers.

PARKING

Register Early and We'll Pay!

Closest Parking: Civic Plaza parking garage.  On Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Drive, cross Thrid Street and then veer left and go down ramp; park on the lower level. Follow signs to the Convention Center. There is an underground passage that will take you to the lower level of the west side of the convention center, where registration is located. Cost is $8 per day. 

Least Expensive Parking: Convention Center parking structure.  On Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Drive, cross Broadway and then veer left up ramp. The structure is located on the east side of the convention center. Follow signs to the conference. Cost is $6 per day.

Free Parking: If you register by March 23 you will receive up to two FREE parking passes for the Convention Center Parking Structure. You will need to bring this with you and present it to the booth attendant in place of payment. Passes are not valid for in/out use and can not be replaced if lost.

Handicapped Parking: Handicapped parking in ANY city parking lot or structure is free.  Just show the booth attendant your valid handicapped placard and be sure to park in spaces designated for handicapped parking.

Hotel Parking: If you are staying at the host hotel, we recommend keeping your car in the hotel parking lot during the day while you’re at the conference. It’s a short walk across the street or take the underground passage way that leads directly to the convention center.

ACCOMMODATIONS

Right Across the Street

A block of rooms has been reserved at the Doubletree Hotel Albuquerque at a rate of $75 single/$95 double occupancy plus tax which INCLUDES overnight self-parking (normally $10 a day). Participants must make their own lodging arrangements. Although the content of the conference is centered on the needs of children, please note that this conference provides professional training to adults and is not suitable for children.
