REGISTRATION MANAGER

 

Kesselman-Jones, Inc., a communications firm specializing in conference and event management, is seeking a full time registration manager. 

 

Job Duties

§         Provide extensive telephone, email and face-to-face customer relations with current, potential and past conference attendees. 

§         Maintain web site and online registration for events.

§         Maintain attendee and marketing databases.

§         Supervise preparation of attendee materials including name badge production, session ticketing, registration packets, etc.

§         Write registration policies for conference marketing materials.

§         Provide frequent status reports and monitor database as requested.

§         Draft correspondence to communicate logistical information to conference attendees.

§         Develop and track housing lists and serve as liaison with hotels regarding lodging needs.

§         Coordinate transfer of registration materials from office to on-site, ensuring all forms, supplies, materials, etc. have been ordered/prepared, packed and moved.

§         Coordinate scholarship and work study programs.

§         Supervise on-site registration area including collecting registration fees, coordinating registration procedures and ensuring policies are followed.

§         Supervise and train volunteers assisting with on-site registration.

§         Monitor the activities of the guests and conference participants to assure the safety and satisfaction of all.

§         With bookkeeper, provide accurate fiscal reports on registration income.

§         Develop post conference reports regarding conference attendees based on registration information.

§         Coordinate special projects as requested by company President.

 

Applicant Requirements

§         Knowledgeable of customer service strategies.

§         Ability to work both independently and in a team approach with others

§         Effectively respond to problems and difficulties.

§         Creative problem solver.

§         Proven ability to multitask and prioritize workload independently in a fast-paced environment

§         Demonstration of excellent communication skills both verbal and written

§         Demonstration of attention to detail and task oriented

§         Fiscal savvy

§         Have expertise, willingness, and confidence to interact with conference attendees, presenters, vendors, external clients and all levels of management.

§         Ability to work on a flexible schedule as needed and able to travel weekdays/weekends if required.

Applicant Qualifications:

§         Bachelor’s Degree required

§         Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word, and use of Internet for resources and research.

§         Type min 50 WPM.

§         Dreamweaver or Contribute experience a plus.

§         Some Manual labor is required, ability to lift a minimum of 50 pounds
