The School Health Education Institute is offering the following continuing education opportunities:

University Credit

Attendees will have he opportunity to register for one (1) Academic Credit Hour from New Mexico Highlands University for $95.  There is also a $5 matriculation fee for anyone who has not attended Highlands in the past.  If you are working to obtain a masters degree (which is now required for Level III-A licensure) this credit can count toward your MA.  Highlands will be on-site at the Institute to answer any questions you may have and to register attendees. 

Counselors Continuing Education Units

The School Health Education Institute is approved for 11.25 credit hours by the New Mexico Counseling Board.  If you would like credit, please stop at the registration desk at the end of Day 2 to pick up a Certificate of Completion.

Social Worker Continuing Education Units

It is our understanding that the Board of Social Work has a reciprocal agreement with the New Mexico Board of Counseling.  If you would like to submit for credit, please pick up a Counseling Certificate of Completion at the end of Day 2.

Certificate of Attendance

A certificate of Attendance will be made available to ALL Institute attendees at the conclusion of the Institute.
