The School Health Education Institute will have designated times throughout the day on Tuesday, October 27 and an exclusive viewing time from 3:30 - 4:15 pm to visit exhibitors and learn more about the services or resources they provide. Blue Cross & Blue Shield of New Mexico

BlueSalud is offered by Blue Cross & Blue Shield of New Mexico as part of the New Mexico Medicaid program Salud! The program is for financially eligible New Mexicans.

Center for Family and Adolescent Research

The Center for Family and Adolescent Research (CFAR) provides excellence in substance abuse treatment to adolescents, ages 13 to 18, at no cost. All CFAR research and treatment programs are funded by the National Institute of Health (NIH) and the National Institute of Drug Abuse (NIDA).

Drug Policy Alliance New Mexico

Drug Policy Alliance New Mexico (DPANM) is a local office of the Drug Policy Alliance (DPA), a national non-profit organization that advocates an approach to drug policy that is grounded in science, compassion, health and human rights. In addition to public policy work, DPANM has a youth drug education project which provides train-the-trainer workshops and resources for teachers, school counselors and prevention specialists statewide.

Johnny O. Perea Foundation for Asbestos Education & Relief

The foundation is a free resource for attendees to learn about asbestos containing materials used in home construction. You can prevent cancers linked to asbestos by preventing exposures to this know carcinogen.

Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation

The mission of the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation (JDRF) is to find a cure for diabetes through the support of research and research-related education. Founded by parents of children with type 1 diabetes in 1970, JDRF has raised more than $1.3 billion for diabetes research, making it the world's largest charitable funder of diabetes research.

Lovelace Community Health Plan

Lovelace Salud provides it’s members personalized customer service with full medical, dental, vision and prescription benefits at low or no cost; with a wide network of healthcare providers.

New Mexico Alliance for School-Based Health Care

The NM Alliance for School-Based Health Care represents school-based health centers in New Mexico and collaborates with other school health partners to promote, facilitate and advocate for comprehensive culturally competent health care in schools.

New Mexico Department of Health Comprehensive Cancer Program

The CCP promotes the health of New Mexicans through a number of cancer prevention and control activities including skin cancer prevention education, prostate cancer awareness, education and support, colorectal cancer early detection education and cancer survivorship support and education.

New Mexico Educators Federal Credit Union

As a member-owned, not-for-profit financial institution, NMEFCU is dedicated to not only providing affordable financial services to our members but also providing valuable financial literacy and money management resources for all age groups in the community.

New Mexico State University Cooperative Extension Service (web site unavailable)

Organ Wise Guys is a fun-filled nutrition and physical activity curriculum for elementary schools. Participating schools receive a comprehensive kit of innovative materials including lesson plans, hardback books, student activity books, computer games, DVDs, and stuffed characters (including Calci M. Bone and Sir Rebrum, who represent the organs in our bodies). Funded by NM Blue Cross Blue Shield, the W.K. Kellogg Foundation, SNAP, and New Mexico State University Cooperative Extension Service.

New Mexico Teen Pregnancy Coalition

NMTPC is dedicated to sponsoring programs and activities aimed at reducing teen pregnancy and the negative consequences of teen pregnancy and parenting in New Mexico.

NMGRADS

A drop out prevention program for teen parents, NM GRADS has impactec multiple generations for over 20 years.

NM Public Education Department

New Mexico Public Education Department  - School and Family Support Bureau provides guidance, resources and technical assistance for a wide variety of school health programs to ensure student academic success.

NMSU ICAN Program

The ICAN/kIdsCAN program provides hands on learning experiences in the area of nutrition, food budgeting, food preparation and food safety to limited resource New Mexicans. The program is provided for both youth and adult audiences statewide by the Cooperative Extension Service.

Parents Reaching Out

Parents Reaching Out is a non-profit organization who helps families across New Mexico navigate the public school and health care system. The organization provides different resources and training on Early Childhood, Education, Special Education and Health to all families.

People Living Through Cancer

People Living Through Cancer provides support for cancer survivors and their families.

Planned Parenthood of New Mexico

Planned Parenthood of New Mexico offers low-cost, high-quality, reproductive health care at clinics in Albuquerque, Rio Rancho and Santa Fe. Education programming is delivered statewide.

They have t-shirts with teacher slogans. They sell jewelry including watches and sterling silver rings.

The Leukemia and Lymphoma Society

The mission of LLS is to cure blood cancers and improve the quality of life for patients and their families.

UNM School Based Health Center

The UNM School Based Health Center provides primary and behavioral health services for APS students at specific sites.

UNM/CASAA Fetal Alcohol Syndrome Prevention Program (web site unavailable)

This organization provides fetal alcohol syndrome prevention materials.
