The Convention Center is a large facility, so plan on some healthy physical activity! Consider wearing a pedometer so you see how many steps you take throughout the day! Meeting rooms are notorious for being either too cool or warm, so we highly encourage you to dress in layers.

Parking

FREE PARKING!!! All registered participants will receive four FREE parking passes for the Albuquerque Convention Center Parking Structure (a $24 savings). You will need to present a pass to the booth attendant, each day, in place of payment. Passes are not valid for in/out use. Please Note: Parking passes are valid ONLY at the Convention Center parking structure.

Directions to Convention Center Parking: On Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Drive, cross Broadway and then veer left up ramp. The structure is located on the east side of the convention center. Follow signs to the conference.

Handicapped Parking: Handicapped parking in ANY city parking lot or structure is free.  Just show the booth attendant your valid handicapped placard and be sure to park in spaces designated for handicapped parking. The closest parking to the Convention Center is under Civic Plaza.

Hotel Parking: If you are staying at the host hotel, we recommend keeping your car in the hotel parking lot during the day while you’re at the conference. It’s a short walk across the street (or through the underground passage) to the convention center.

Lodging

Participants must make their own lodging arrangements. The cut off date for receiving the special rate, at either hotel, is Friday, November 21.

Located just South of the Convention Center, access to the conference is only a short walk across the street. A block of rooms has been reserved at the Hyatt Regency Hotel at the special group rate of $80 single/double occupancy plus tax. You must give the reference Behavioral Health Conference to receive the special rate. Parking for hotel guests is $5 a day, which includes in-and-out privileges. 

Reservations: To make reservations, you may contact the Hyatt Regency at (505) 842–1234 or Toll Free (800) 234–1234. A limited number of smoking rooms are available; participants must make this request when making their reservation. Requests for smoking rooms, at check-in, will be on a first come first serve basis.

Located directly North of the Convention Center, entry to and from the Center is available through a convenient underground passageway. A block of rooms has been reserved at the DoubleTree Hotel at the special group of $75 single/double occupancy plus tax. Parking for hotel guests is $8, which includes in-and-out privileges, however parking is limited and we recommend that you do not move your car once you have checked in. You must give the reference Behavioral Health Conference to receive the special rate.

Please note that this conference provides professional training to adults and is not suitable for children.
