Albuquerque, NM 87102
Phone: (505) 768-4575
Helpful Hints:
1) WEAR COMFORTABLE SHOES. The Convention Center is a large facility so wear comfortable shoes and plan on some healthy physical activity! Consider wearing a pedometer so you see how many steps you take throughout the day!
2) DRESS IN LAYERS. Meeting rooms are notorious for being either too cool or warm, so we highly encourage you to dress in layers.
3) BRING A WATER BOTTLE: Due to the City's water savings policy, the Convention Center does not provide water in meeting rooms, but in water coolers located in the hallways. Bring a water bottle to keep hydrated throughout the day.
FREE Parking!!
All registered participants will be issued a parking pass for the Convention Center parking structure for each day of attendance at the conference. Parking passes will be e-mailed to you with your registration confirmation. Please print these out when you receive them and put them in a safe place, or keep the e-mail in a location where you can find it and print before the conference.
Directions to Convention Center Parking: Driving west on Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Drive, cross Broadway and then veer left on the up ramp. The structure is located on the east side of the convention center. Follow signs to the conference.
Handicapped Parking: Handicapped parking in ANY city parking lot or structure is free. Just show the booth attendant your valid handicapped placard and be sure to park in spaces designated for handicapped parking.
NOTE: The parking pass that will be provided to you is ONLY VALID in the lot referred to above and must be given to the attendant upon entry. There are no in-out privileges.
Hotel Parking: If you are staying at the host hotel, we recommend keeping your car in hotel parking during the day while you’re at the conference. It’s a short walk across the street to the convention center.

Participants must arrange for their own lodging. All rooms are subject to city and state taxes, currently 13% per room, per night. Meeting rates are in effect three days before and after the meeting dates, and are for a limited number of rooms only.
Book your room ONLINE or call (505) 247-3344 or (800) 584-5058 and mention the Head to Toe conference to receive this special rate. Rooms are available at the group rate until the block is full or the cut-off date of March 21, 2011, whichever comes first. After March 21, remaining rooms in the block will be released for sale to the general public, and attendees cannot be guaranteed the group rate or room availability after this date.
The Doubletree is conveniently connected to the Albuquerque Convention Center via an underground passageway that can be accessed on the lower level of the Hotel.
Your room rate INCLUDES parking. Since the hotel has less spaces than rooms, the lot will fill up. Therefore, we have made arrangements with the hotel to provide overflow parking for Head to Toe guests in the garage under civic plaza. If you arrive late and/or are travelling alone, please request a security escort to walk you from the parking structure to the hotel. This is a special service that we have arranged to be provided for our guests.
If the hotel or front desk is not accommodating, please call the conference manager's cell phone at (505) 620-1265 so that we can assure you receive all of the benefits the hotel has promised they will deliver to our guests.
