The Structural Engineers Association of New Mexico announces its Call for Entries in the Excellence in Structural Engineering Awards Program for 2011.
Projects completed since January 1, 2008, or those works which are sufficiently complete to clearly show the basic design of the structural system are eligible for submission in one of the following categories:
- The Best Large Structural Project Award will be given to a project with a total construction cost greater than $5,000,000. One finalist will be selected to receive the Best Large Project Award.
- The Best Small Structural Project Award will be given to a project with a total construction cost equal to or less than $5,000,000. One finalist will be selected to receive the Best Small Project Award.

Awards Banquet
The annual Awards Banquet will be held on Thursday, June 23, 2011 at Embassy Suites.The registration fee for the meeting includes entrance to the event, dinner and one drink ticket.
The Awards Banquet will include recognition of winners of the Excellence in Structural Engineering Awards Program which aims to recognize creative achievement and innovation in structural
engineering design, or in the publication of a significant work
contributing to the advancement of structural engineering.
The Awards Banquet begins
with cocktails at 6:00 pm; dinner will be served beginning at 7:00 pm.
