In 2012 the graduation requirement of health education goes into effect.   Are you ready to launch?

Educating our children isn’t a solo mission.  The New Mexico Public Education Department is here to help prepare you for the journey through an out-of-this-world training at the School Health Educator Institute (SHEI) on April 10 & 11, 2012 in Albuquerque, NM. 

It doesn’t matter if you are new to teaching health or if you’ve taught for years, SHEI will provide the latest data, resources and lesson plans to help you reach new heights in your classroom.  You’ll also benefit from the knowledge of your fellow teachers, who you’ll be networking with for the day and half long event.  Best of all, this voyage is free; there’s no registration fee, lodging is available for those who qualify and we provide a substitute reimbursement for the day and a half.
