General information
There is NO COST to participate in the Institute,
however, it is REQUIRED that teachers attend the FULL Institute. If you cannot
commit to attending the Institute from 12:00 pm to 5:00 pm on Tuesday, April 10
and 8:00 am to 4:00 pm on Wednesday, April 11, please do not
register.
The
following attendee expenses are covered by the Institute
sponsors:
- Cost of single occupancy lodging for one
night for individuals who live more than 45 miles outside of Albuquerque
- Curriculum materials
- Reimbursement for up to two days for
teacher’s substitute.
Please
note: Attendance preference is given to PED
licensed teachers with an endorsement in health education or those identified to
teach the health education requirement in their school. Additionally, preferred space is given to public
school teachers.

It
is no longer necessary to submit a team application; individuals must complete
an online registration request. You may submit your request online by clicking
here. You will be asked to indentify your session selections during registration. Please review the Agenda to identify your preferred sessions.
The Institute Management Office will review your registration request to confirm that you meet eligibility requirements. You will recieve notification via e-mail regarding attendance approval.
