Invitation Questions

Who is invited to attend the Border Governors Conference - Interim Meeting?  Attendance at the Interim Meeting is by invitation only.  Guests include the border governors, their staff, ambassadors and other federal delegates. 

Registration Questions

How can I register to attend? Invited attendees will receive registration instructions via e-mail. These instructions will include a special code which is required to access the registration system.

What is necessary to register? Please visit the registration page for details regarding registration needs.

Can I register on behalf of someone else? Yes. However, you will need access to their registration code and have all of the other information requested in the registration process which is outlined on the registration page.

Can I register my group at once? No, you must complete an individual registration request for each attendee.

I’ve completed my registration request.  When will I find out details about the meeting? All registrations are reviewed by the New Mexico Department of Homeland Security and Emergency Management.  Once we receive their approval, further meeting details will be sent to the e-mail address you used to register.

What if I’ve registered but can no longer attend? Please contact the Meeting Management Office to cancel or send a substitution.

Media Questions

I’d like to cover the meeting; can I gain access to the event? All press wishing to attend this event must be credentialed in advance.  If approved, the individual attending the event on behalf of the media must register through our online system. Please contact Gilbert Gallegos for information regarding credentialing.

What events may media attend?  Only the plenary session and press conference are open to the media.

Can I have an oversized parking space for my news van? You will be able to request an oversized parking space on the online registration; space will be allocated on a case by case basis.
