Since 1972, PB&J’s mission has been to ensure at-risk children can grow and develop to their full potential, within nurturing families and supportive communities. PB&J provides parenting education, case management, counseling, and nutrition and health education to keep over 1,400 families whole every year. PB&J relies on fund-raising dollars to provide the wraparound services that are not covered by contracts and grants. Keeping a family’s heat on this winter, helping to purchase car seats, food boxes, giving children safe outings to nature, and providing parenting education and needed counseling for children and their families are all paid for by fund-raising dollars.
