Administrators in the NM PreK program are required to attend three meetings and two trainings each school year: three Coordinator Meetings, one Institute training and a PreK 101 training. The Institute will have a separate Web site and registration system.
- Three Coordinator Meetings will be held in Albuquerque during the 2009 -2010 school year. Additionally, two Coordinator Meetings will be held in Las Cruces. You do not need to attend both Las Cruces and Albuquerque trainings, you should attend the training that is closer to your program.
- The PreK 101 for Administrators training will also be held in Albuquerque.
- Administrators may also attend any Observational Assessment Tools Training, in order to provide support for their program. The trainings are divided into four tracks, based on the number of years at a NM PreK program. Please determine which trainings you should attend, based on the experience of your teachers and educational assistants.
