Registration

The online registration system is now open.  Please read through the following document to ensure that you are prepared to register. Your advance preparation will make the process much faster and easier.

STEP 1: ROLE

You will be prompted to register based on your role within the PreK program, select the one title that best describes your role. If you fulfill more than one role within the program, please select the highest level (Example: If you are both a Teacher and Administrator, you should select Administrator). Options to chose from are:

STEP 2: E-MAIL

You will then need to enter your e-mail address. Please enter an e-mail address that you check often, as this will be the main source of communication from the Training Management Office. If you registered for a PreK training in the past, you can use the same address and will be prompted to enter your password. If entered, the registration system will recall and input your contact information. If you forgot your password, you may request to have it sent to you.

STEP 3: CONTACT INFORMATION

Enter your contact information, or if necessary, correct pre-entered data, on the next page. You will also be asked if your program is affiliated with Children, Youth & Family Department (CYFD) or the Public Education Department (PED). If you do not know, please check the chart here. You will then need to select your program site. If you are representing multiple sites, select the main program name. If you are representing one site, locate that specific site and select it.

STEP 4: YEARS AT A NM PREK PROGRAM

If you are a teacher or educational assistant you will be asked how many years you have been at a NM PreK program classroom.  A NM PreK program classroom is one funded by the NM PreK program, affiliated with either CYFD or PED.  This question will be used to determine which trainings you are required to attend.

STEP 5: TRAINING DATES

Next you will select your training dates. Please visit the calendar page ahead of time, to see what trainings are available. You will need to select BOTH your fall and spring trainings when you register. Each training has a maximum capacity of 30 attendees, so it is important to register early to secure your space. If your first choice is unavailable, you will be required to select an alternate date.

STEP 6: LODGING

After selecting your training date you will be able to request lodging. Shared accommodations are available for eligible programs. Please check here, to ensure that you are from an eligible program prior to registering. The Training Management Office will contact you via e-mail after you’ve completed registration with details regarding lodging.

STEP 7: TERMS & CONDITIONS

The final page contains the terms and conditions associated with the trainings. Please read through and check the box with a red asterisk to agree and complete your registration.

STEP 8: CONFIRMATION

You should receive a confirmation e-mail within ten minutes of completing your registration. If you do not receive an e-mail please check your spam settings and junk mail folders. If the confirmation is not in any location, please contact the Training Management Office.
