Support staff includes Training & Development Consultants, Assessment Coaches, T.E.A.C.H. Staff, State Agency Staff and UNM Continuing Education ECSE Staff. Support staff may attend any of the following trainings and meetings throughout the 2009 – 2010 school year:
- Three Coordinator Meetings will be held during the 2009 -2010 school year.
- Four Training & Development Consultant meetings will be held during the 2009 – 2010 school year.
- Support staff may attend any Observational Assessment Tools Training, in order to provide support for their program. The trainings are divided into four tracks, based on the number of years at a NM PreK program.

- Two special PreK 101 courses will be offered, one for Administrators and one for Training & Development Consultants.
- Support staff may also attend an ECERS-R Training, however, it is not required. The Early Childhood Environment Rating Scale was created to help determine appropriate classroom environments.
- The PreK Institute, which will have a separate Web site and registration system.
