Lodging (NEW INFORMATION AS OF 12-1-09)

Accommodations have been secured at at the Doubletree Hotel for eligible attendees.  The room and tax and parking will be paid to the hotel by NM PreK. Therefore, there will be no lodging reimbursement to individuals. We only have the resources to provide for shared accommodations. When registering you will be asked for the name of your roommate, you are required to select a roommate. If you do not want shared lodging, you may purchase a single room at a reduced rate. Please write, “Pay for Single” for your roommate selection. The Institute Management Office will make your hotel reservation and you will receive a confirmation number via e-mail. If you do not have a roommate, one will be assigned to you. When assigning roommates, same sex will be a requirement.  If you have any questions or concerns about your roommate assignment or hotel reservation please contact the Institute Management Office at (505) 266-3451. IMPORTANT:  The Doubletree Hotel will send you an e-mail with your confirmation number and other details. If you do not receive this e-mail by December 4,2009, please contact the Institute Management Office. Please make sure to check your e-mail often for updates and make sure our messages are not going to your junk mail box.

Conference Parking (NEW INFORMATION AS OF 12-1-09)

Two (2) parking passes will be e-mailed on December 7, 2009 to all attendees who are not staying at the Doubletree Hotel to use at the Convention Center parking structure off of Broadway Blvd. and Martin Luther King, Jr. Avenue. CLICK HERE to see where to use your parking passes. These passes are valid for December 10 & 11, 2009 ONLY.

If you choose to park in a different parking structure you will NOT be reimbursed. CLICK HERE for a map of area parking structures.

IMPORTANT: The Convention Center parking structure passes are for those who are NOT staying at the Doubletree Hotel. Those staying at the hotel will receive a parking pass when checking in for the duration of the Institute. Parking is covered by NM PreK for the days of attendee’s lodging reservation. Any additional days are attendee’s responsibility.

Travel Stipends

Travel stipends will be given at the end of the Institute to those who are traveling over 50 miles one way. For a list of eligible sites CLICK HERE.
