Teachers and educational assistants in their first year at a PreK program should attend the Track 1 trainings for Day 1 & 2 and Day 3. For facility information click "Logistics" under Quick Links.

4 Observational Assessment Tools Training for Administrators
Administrators should attend the Observational Assessment Tools Training for Administrators on September 24, 2008. The Observational Assessment Tools Training for Administrators will be held from 8:30 am to 12:00 pm at the University of New Mexico Continuing Education North Building in rooms G & H.

4 NM PreK Mentor Training / Orientation
Mentors should attend the NM preK Mentor Training / Orientation on Monday, October 20, 2008 and Tuesday, October 21, 2008. The training will be held from 8:00 am - 4:00 pm on Monday and 8:30 am - 12:00 pm on Tuesday at the Kesselman-Jones, Inc. Conference Center. The Kesselman-Jones, Inc. 4 Introduction to ECERS-R for PreK Staff Training
The Early Childhood Environment Rating Scale (ECERS) was developed in 1980 to observe and rate 7 areas of a classroom. The Introduction to ECERS-R for PreK Staff Trainings are not mandatory, but are suggested. The trainings will be held from 10:00 am - 3:00 pm at UNM Continuing Education. The University of New Mexico Continuing Education North Building is located at 1634 University Blvd, NE, Albuquerque, NM.
Please note: the location for the ECERS-R trainings have changed. All ECERS-R trainings will be held at the University of New Mexico Continuing Education Building Auditorium.

4 ECERS-R TTAP/Mentor Staff Training
The ECERS-R TTAP/Mentor Staff Training is a specialized training for support staff. Attendance is not mandatory, but suggested. The two day training will be held on Monday, February 23, 1:00 pm - 5:00 pm and Tuesday, February 24, 8:00 am - 3:00 pm at the University of New Mexico Continuing Education North Building, Room C. The University of New Mexico Continuing Education North Building is located at 1634 University Blvd, NE, Albuquerque, NM.
